It is with profound sadness that the family of Mr. Daniel Laraque announces his passing on February 5, 2026, at the Memphremagog Hospital, at the age of 77.
Mr. Laraque was the beloved husband of Mrs. Sandra Rolbin, a devoted father to Philip and Shane and will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Chloe and Zeana as well as his stepchildren Maya, Aletha and Sacha Rolbin Ganie. He was the dear brother of Ms. Marie-Claire Moraille, Ms. Jessie Nicolas, and Ms. Carole Wawa. He will also be missed by many extended family members and friends.
Born in Haiti, Mr. Laraque pursued higher education in the United States, attending the University of Philadelphia beginning in 1966. Following his studies, he resided in Ontario before relocating to Quebec, where he made his home for the past twenty years.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Magog Hospital for their compassionate and exemplary care.
