C’est avec tristesse que nous annonçons le décès tragique de Mme Dustine Mayhew, le 30 août 2024, à l’âge de 69 ans. Elle était l’amie de cœur de Jean-Jacques Rousseau, fille de feu Elyse Andrews et Lloyd Mayhew. Elle habitait à Compton.
Outre son partenaire Jack, Dustine laisse dans le deuil ses filles Julie (Erik Paquin) et Crystal (Patrick Désinde) ainsi que ses petits-enfants Alexandrea, Jessica, Alicia, Zacharie, Olivia, Mathys et Émylie. Elle était la grand-mère de feu Félix-Antoine. Elle laisse également ses arrière-petits-enfants : Lucas, Liam et Charles-Olivier; ses sœurs Liane et Laura (Michael). Elle était la sœur de feu Lloyd Jr (Skip).
Elle laisse également plusieurs neveux, nièces, autres parents et bons amis.
La famille et les amis proches se réuniront au cimetière de Dixville chemin Major, Dixville, Québec, le samedi 7 septembre 2024 à 13 h.

We are saddened to announce the accidental passing of Mrs. Dustine Mayhew, at the age of 69. She was the lifelong partner of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and daughter of the late Elyse Andrews and Lloyd Mayhew.
Besides her partner Jack, Dustine leaves to mourn her daughters Julie (Erick Paquin) and Crystal (Patrick Désinde) as well as her grandchildren Alexandrea, Jessica, Alicia, Zacharie, Olivia and Mathys. She was the grandmother of the late Félix-Antoine. She also leaves her great-grandchildren: Lucas, Liam and Charles-Olivier; her sisters Liane and Laura (Michael). She was the sister of the late Lloyd Jr. (Skip). She also leaves many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Family and close friends will gather at the Dixville cemetery, Major Rd, Dixville, Quebec, on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.

I’m so sorry for your loss.
I really loved my older cousin, Dusti. She visited regularly when we were kids and even babysat me a few times. I remember taking a TTC bus in Toronto with her and Skip and feeling so grown up to be going out with these teenagers & no parents!
She was so outgoing and fun to be around, you just couldn't help being drawn in to whatever she was up to. My daughter also fondly remembers meeting Dusti in Coaticook (a decade ago) and more recently playing with her in the lake at our last family reunion. Dusti just had a way with children.
Dusti was vivacious, had a hearty laugh and truly embraced life. Her sudden departure is a shock for everyone. Please know that our thoughts and hearts are with you in this difficult time.
